<P>You must have come at a bad time!! Our weather does do that, yes, but it's actually pretty good. Last summer, movie-peoples were here filming a movie called "Rare Birds". It's based on a book that was set in Nfld, and the atmosphere of the place is very dreary - RDF (Rain, Drizzle, and Fog), and that sort of stuff. The crews were here for an extra two months in the summer on account of the weather not cooperating - it was too sunny and nice!!</P>
<P>We also get a very rapid change in the weather. It's joked that if you don't like the weather outside your front door, go out the back! We also get "cold days in July", so the old cliche doesn't work here! We've also gotten in the 40's and 50's during the winter months. It's not very often you'll see the 50's, but the 40's isn't completely out of the ordinary</P>
<P>But, I love Newfoundland, despite the strange weather. It makes for interesting stories!</P>
