Yolanda,</DIV>
<DIV> I think it is simular to the verse about children
obeying there parents. Eph 6:1 ¶ Children, obey your parents
in the Lord: for this is right.<BR> If your husband for example ( This is
a totally off the wall example) would tell you to go break into a house &
steal or do something that is wrong in the Bible then you wouldn't be
obligated. THe Bible not only tells the wives to listen to the husband but
the husband to give his wife the same amount of respect as well ( Meaning
the husband should not make his wife a total slave to do everything he
orders). </DIV>
<DIV>
POSH,</DIV>
<DIV> I agree totally that KJV prob. is the best. I do not like the NIV
& here is why. I read in the newspaper ( & checked this out) that a
portion of the NIV is taken out. ( certain stuff like when Jesus was fasting
& stuff they said) I looked it up ( THIS WAS 2 years ago or
something & I wish I would have saved the artical) & everything they
said about was true. </DIV>

<DIV>I know this one is for the 'rev'. But I thought I'd just give u a
scripture to go over with your husband. It's Ephesians 5: 21-33. It talks of a
relationship between a man and wife. That a wife is in subjection to her
husband. </DIV>

<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Garamond><STRONG>Hi all. This question
is more for Rev Ev. I was outside working on the lawn when a
church guy came walking by and asked me if he could give me a gift. I
say a "church guy" because I do not know of what religion he was. He
wanted to know if I was saved and I told him yes. He asked me if I was
going to heaven and I told him "Without a doubt!" We spoke and he
offended me because my husband is Catholic and he told me that Catholic's
pray to the virgin Mary instead of to God. blah blah blah right?
Well, he said something that struck me as odd. He told me that the
bible says that the woman must </STRONG><EM>OBEY </EM><STRONG>her
husband. Is this true? Because I don't obey anyone but
God. My husband and I are in 50/50 relationship. He helps me
with everything and I help him with everything. Help me out with this
one. I'm baffled! :)</STRONG></FONT></DIV>

<DIV>Eric,</DIV>
<DIV>try Welchs. It is pretty good. Went over very well at my
daughters wedding where no alcohol was served. You might want to buy
and try a couple different ones. Best of wishes to you and your
bride.</DIV>

a<BR>little<BR>bit. I am getting married in June 2 day s after my 21st
