<DIV>If you look back in the archives, GCFL had a very fine explanation of what
a BOOK is. Somehow a screen presentation just isn't the same, especially since
you have to turn it on and wait for it to warm up.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>You don't need to read up on Marx, Engels and Wagner to read The Pirates
adventure. It is pure slapstick, of the kind that gets a little tiring after the
fifteenth repetition of the same theme, but worth $1 to pick up a mint condition
copy. (I never would have thought of looking it up on Amazon, but that's the
difference between you 20-somethings and people in their 50s like me.) The front
cover offers "Oh No! Black Bellamy has stolen the Pirate Captain's prize ham and
hidden it in the silky folds of Karl Marx's busy beard! Help the Captain and his
crew find their way to the booty, but watch out for the forces of oppression
along the way." (It is a maze puzzle).</DIV>
