Discussion of having a Run Off voting follows:
By far the majority seems to want a run-off. After
looking at both arguments, I feel a run-off is
necessary.
Here is a few comments received from members:
Comments AGAINST a run-off:
- Since there was no previous mention of a run off, my
opinion is to let the votes stand as they are.
- Let the election stand, as it is, unless the votes were
counted in Florida.
- Would like to use the existing top ten choices, NO
Run-Off.
- The important question on the logo vote is: what kind of
voting machine did you use to tally the votes? Were there
any hanging chads on the ballots? Are you sure that if
someone voted for logo #70 it was their true intent? I'm
note sure that you can declare a winner until the Supreme
Court hears the appeal. This could get extremely
complicated.

Comments FOR a run-off:
- None of the logos I voted for are in the
top 10, so I'd like the chance to vote again.
- I'd like to see a run off for the top ten, as there were
so many to choose from.
- I think a runoff contest would be best. It is interesting
to note that logo #s 104 & 94 are very close and those
numbers added together would be the highest by far.
- Even though the winner had 620 votes, that's only about 5% or so of the total
votes. Maybe you would like to have a run-off to establish a more
acurate majority?

As you can see, some
people took advantage of the fact that we really can't tell if someone uses multiple
email addresses to vote multiple times. Still, I think the possible cheating
was kept to a minimum and really did not effect the overall outcome.
