  I found out about the "clean funnies" from our church secretary.  I would print them out and take them to the Nursing home that I visit.  We sit around in the lobby and I read the jokes. Before you know it, we are finding all kinds of things in our everyday lives to laugh at.  May not sound like a big night out, but we have a lot of fun.
