Two points about me to start with...

1) I am a Christian.
2) I am a conservative.

The reason I claim to be a conservative not a republican is that I do
indeed vote for the candidate that best reflects my opinions and my views.
In the three years I have been voting they have always been republicans.
Would I vote for a democrat that was more conservative then his/her
republican opponent?  Yes, and I can remember some, before I could vote.
There is nothing wrong with standing behind one party if they support you
beliefs.
