Small c or large C? Church universal or church governed by Rome?

OK, I'm joking, I know what you mean. I've been to a few masses with
elderly Hispanic friends, and they are good worship services, but I
generally have no use for hierarchies, even though I belong to a
denomination that has preserved the office of bishop, although mostly in
an administrative sort of purpose. Then again, most Rman Catholics read
Scripture in their own language, and have their own personal relation to
Jesus, as much as Baptists do, so... we're all catholic, small c.
