	My other question is do you think an attack right before the
election would help Bush?  He has been running on a campaign of keeping us
safe.  I would think that most people would see an attack as a failure on
his part.

No matter what Kerry has said, he is perceived as a waffler.  He is
perceived as "lets cut and run".  The goal of the Madrid bombing was to get
Spain out of Iraq and out of the war on terror.  It has worked in Spain,
Turkey, and the Philippines.  That will be the goal here -- to get Kerry
elected.  I think Americans will perceive that and will react with a
landslide for Bush.  Let's hope we don't find out.
