I was planning on making a trip to the store for some Aveeno, I bought it
for my husband during his suffering and he said it helped.  I wasn't sure
if it was for babies or not, but I don't think it can do to much harm.  She
has not spiked a fever, she cries all night long, and I have given her
Tylenol anyway because I don't know if the crying is from the pox or from
the new tooth she is getting, and yes, I need to get some Ambesol too,
better attach a sticky note to my purse!

I don't think it actually "boils under the skin" but it does have a long
gestation period -- 3 to 7 days.  It is most contagious right before and
right after the pox come out.
If you haven't done this, try giving her a bath in "Aveeno" which is
actually oatmeal!! it relieves the itch tremendously.
Finally, fever (103-4) in a child is not as bad as in an adult.

My nanny told me that the chicken pox
boil under your skin a week before they surface.  Is that true?
I hope my baby's fever does not get high!  I don't want her
to go thru what he just went thru.
