I don't know what the law is in Illinois, but but whether or not it is
legal, you should not drive while talking on the cellphone in a manner that
distracts from your driving.  As you said yourself, you could have been
killed; instead you have to pay $75.  Good deal, no?




Dave you shouldn't say things like that!  I work two jobs to support 5 kids
and a husband.  My husband is from Mexico and because people discriminate
he is not paid the wages he should be paid.  $75 is a lot to pay, yes I did
do something wrong, I don't deny that, but I wish I hadn't, and I wish I
didn't have this bill.  No worries though, I will be getting a fat IRS
return next month.



Good on the cop that gave you the ticket. You should have gotten one for
using the cell phone while driving...
