[GCFL-discuss] Flu/shot

Yes I got it all done, I call it my room of shame. Its a small walk-in closet that I started about 2 months ago. She who commands said that she wanted more shelves in it, I said OK lets line it with cedar, she said no that stinks, I said but I like the smell. Anyway one thing leads to another and I'm putting new walls in. Tomorrow I paint and put the new shelves in plus new doors. One thing leads to another doesn't it? 

Three years in England and France,   I was a cook, great experience, I would do it again in a heart beat. I managed to get to Germany ( real nice people) on leave and hopped a flight to Berlin and toured East Berlin, scary..

Are you out of work or did you retire, can you retire.

  I was discharged in July of 1973.  Army.  I spent 30 months in Germany (right during the end of Viet Nam.  Don't ask me how that happened.  All but 6 of my basic training unit went to Nam.  The other 6 of us went to Germany. 

  I did have a good weekend.  My company is downsizing and eliminating my particular department.  I work at a building materials center.  I run the paint department.  Too much competition in this small town for them in paint I guess.

  Anyway, I know about spackle and all that stuff.  Hope you got it all done!

  I was discharged March of 65, USAF. I've been fortunate that I've  always had work that 
    had very good bennifis. I contuined to get flu shots ever since. I have been bless with with realtvely good health and any flu that I did get was very light..

     You sign off MILITARY DAD, When I was in the military we got flu shots, regardless. It was standard issue. Did that change?

        I have never gotten a flu shot before.  I usually get a cold (sometimes bad,) but this year I got the flu.  I missed a week of work and feld TERRIBLE!!!  Next year I might get the shot to see if it helps.  Although I think it is for the flu from the year before.
