  I work for a retail/contractor/DIY store.  One day I was standing at the paint desk which is right by the cash register's at the front of the store.  A young woman walked up and stood by one of the registers that was not being used.  After a couple of minutes of just standing there, I went over and asked if she wanted to use the phone or if she needed some help.  She replied, no, she just wanted to purchase the things she had in her basket.
  I indicated the register right behind her and told her the cashier would be glad to help her.  She rolled her eyes and said, "Oh! I'm so blonde sometimes!"  I chuckled and said not to feel bad my niece was blonde and she even liked blonde jokes.
  "Oh, I just love blonde jokes."   she said.  "But, I usually don't get them!"  
  I had to leave then and walked away before I burst out laughing.
