      Frank,
I will ask some people I know. Did you call the pet store where she got
it? They could give you some really great tips! Another recource is you
local library may have a book ( There is a series of pet care books out)
about how to care for rabbits, Iguanas, ferets, ect. Just about evey pet
you can think of! My word! If someone gave me an Iguana I would be
sooo totally thrilled!! I love those things! My cousine had one once
but it got too big so he had to get rid of it. Unfortunately I don't
know about all the care they take. Here are some facts ( not care tips) I
know about iguanas: IGUANAS GET REALLY LONG! According to the world
book they get aprox. 6 1/2 feet in length. Another thing I know is don't
get alarmed if the tail falls off. They will regrow there tails ( Just
like humans would regrow a fingernail.) ( They have to have a heated
rock right?) When threatened it may jump at great heights ( if there is
a body of water below) to escape danger. Sorry I don't know more. If I
find anyhthing out I'll be sure to pass it on.

My daughter went with her friend the other day to buy a feret. When she
came home she said, "Hey, dad. I have a surprise for you." I thought,
"Not a feret! Please don't let it be a feret." Well, it wasn't. It was
an Iguana! Of all things! Does anyone have any tips on caring for an
Iguana??? She named him Marlin and lets him crawl up on her arm and
everything. My wife is about fit to be tied. "Don't you dare let him
out of that cage!" Oh, well. If any one has any experience, let me
know.
