That's cool Frank. Sorry I'm so ignorant on the subject, I do know little
bits about certain tribes, but more of the Lakota, Dakota, and Nakota,
little bit about Nez Perce, and bits of facts here and there, but nothing
strong on facts.

I work with a guy who is a member of that tribe. He goes up to Vancouver
every summer and I thought maybe they were from up there, but, I talked
to him today and he said they came from over in Saskatchewon (sp?). I
guess they broke off from the Chipewa tribe over in the plains somewhere.

I live in Battle Ground, WA. Which is near Vancouver (NOT BC), WA (NOT
DC), USA. And I'm sorry but I haven't heard of that tribe. Are they the
people who do totem poles up in Victoria BC?

Do you live up in the northwest? If so, have you heard of a tribe of
indians up in Canada by the name of Ojibowa? I'm not sure of the
spelling. Thanks Frank
