[GCFL-discuss] Practicing Catholics

In EVERY religion, and every church, there are people who call themselves
whatever and do not practice every detail of that church's doctrine. Up
to a point, this is a strength, because if we were really strict we would
each be "the church of Me." If it begins to border on hypocrisy, then
either the church leadership needs to consider serious reform, or, the
body of the church should consider going their separate ways.

I do know that many Catholics don't practice everything the church
teaches -- many of them are friends of mine, as are some who are more
devout.
