God created man with a desire to be served. BUT He knew, if He created us with no free-will, we'd all be drones doing everything He wanted giving Him the praise He desired. The problem with that is there is no pleasure in drones praising you. Because they have no basis for that praise. With a heart that truly desires TRUE WORSHIP and PRAISE, God created us with free-will. That way we give Him TRUE worship and praise. Because WE choose to, not because we're drones!

When God created man he had a choice, give us free-will or to make a bunch of drones. He knew the cost of making free-will. He knew he'd lose some of mankind to their choice to refuse Him. But He was willing to suffer the loss to save lost. He sent His one and only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to bring us salvation. Fully knowing man as a whole would turn from Him, He gave them a way to come back, and give Him the true worship and praise He so desires.

I too wondered about this...if God loves us then why will he send us into the eternal pit of hell?
Granted I understand about those persons who submitt themselves to the devil but hmmmm
it bothers me....
