Good point Yolanda. People my age or a little older can remember
grandparents who had a strong taste for meat with plenty of fat on it,
because THEIR grandparents did heavy field work all day, and their
parents did constant physical labor at home or in factories or whatever,
and when you do heavy labor all day you NEED all those calories to burn.
Similarly, people whose ancestors lived in desert climates in the
southwest before Europeans arrived have genes to absorb every possible
calorie and store it for dry seasons -- but on a modern American diet
that makes them obese.

But its funny when Americans spend their hard-earned money on a John
Deere to mow the lawn with, then spend more of their hard-earned money
going to the gym to get some exercise.
