[Discussion of the Good, Clean Funnies List]

Two former presidents who were of military age during the Vietnam War did
not in fact go to Vietnam. Both arranged some sort of National Guard
service, during an era when the national guard units were not sent to
fight overseas.

One was indeed George W. Bush.

The other was William J. Clinton.

P.S. Reading down, I see greenBubble beat me to the punch line. George
H.W. Bush served as a navy pilot during WW II. (There wasn't a separate
air force until after the war -- army and navy each had their planes).
Bob Dole was in the army, also in WW II, and I believe the disability in
one of his arms is due to a combat injury.
