Here are 2 cute incidents that happened recently with my 3-yr-old grandson.


One evening,  My daughter was sitting on a chair and her one-year-old daughter, Jane*, was standing on it behind her.

Jane was eating a tomato and the juice got all over her mother's shirt.

She commented to her 3-year-old later, "Jane did a real number on my shirt."

He looked at her shirt and asked, "Where's the number, Mommy?"

On Sunday, my grandson said to his father "Me and Jane want banana."
His father corrected him, "Jane and I want banana."
"OK," he said, "You, Jane, and me want banana."
