Reminds of a line by my late father.  He and his father had been plumbers.
We - my parents, my grandparents and myself -- once drove from NYC to Toronto, stopping at Niagara Falls.  When we got to Toronto, our hostess asked my father what they thought of the Falls.  He answered, "We stopped, we looked, we saw we couldn't stop the lead, and we drove on."
