Thanks for the come back there Eagle. I'm not offended at all, I have heard some of ALL of it through the past eighty years. It was God who was offended and thats not only my openion, It's a fact. Any thing that does not Glorify God is a sin. And yes, we all sin i realize that- just because those of us who have accepted Christ as their personal Savior doesn't mean that we quit sinning. We all sin. But, we must ask God for forgivness of those sins. We get forgivness through the blood of Christ. It's through His blood that those of us who have accepted Christ is declared righteous. As far as I am concerned the "joke"? of April 1St. is a thing of the past--over and done with. But I am one who didn't dig it and am so glad to have had the oppertunity to voice my stand with the Lord. John 14:6 Thanks again for responding Eagle, Lou

  Lou,
First I need to apologize if I offended you. It was not meant as such.
After getting you message I re-read the joke in an effort to re-evaluate my position and I must conclude the same. I do not see anything in there that I would be offended at even if I was Catholic. I think this joke has a lot of whit and does a very good job of comparing pre-reformation Catholicism to modern day Microsoft. During the Middle Ages the Catholic Church did claim exclusive rights to distributing the Bible, even to keeping it in Latin so that only the clergy could read it.
Again I apologize if what I said offended you.

  Eagle
