Jeff,
     I am not sure I am the best one to ask.  Remember I am in Houston.  Kerry showed up on Campus last week and there were more people welcoming him to "Bush Country" then there were Kerry supporters.  All in all I think the odds are pretty good, but in presidential politics 7 days is an eternity, in 7 months anything can happen.
