Dear Lance:

Bravo!!  I couldn't agree with you more about wonderful 
emails which are spoiled by "pass-it-on" requirements, 
threats, intimidations.  You're so right - it's NOT very 
Christian to build someone up and then threaten them, or at 
the very least, detract from and diffuse their contemplation 
and reflection of the foregoing material.  

I haven't forwarded emails in years, even the ones that 
plead for me to, based on my belief that superstitious chain 
mail is just that - superstitious.  Not to mention, it's 
illegal to perpetuate chain snail mail; seems like I'm 
absolved from forwarding chain email for the same reason.  
But I like your logic even better.  I may very well turn off 
a fresh or struggling Christian by passing along emails 
with "guilt tags."
