Congrats, Frank on becoming a grandmother.
(That;s how we say it in my family; since you had a granddaughter we would
call you a grandmother.
 
My late father was a navy radioman in the Pacific theatre of WWII.  His
brother also served then, but I don't remember how.  I remember my father
talking about when their paths crossed in Iwo Jima.  My mother's brother
died in the Battle of the Bulge.
 
During Vietnam, I was  a "1H".
