this is for Eric,

if you have lived all your life without drinking, then I don't see how come you should do so on your wedding. compromise is a funny thing.especially when faced with what society calls proper behaviour at certain times. eg toasting at weddings and other functions.

there as bubbly drinks on the market that do not contain any alcohol in them. so I believe that you should go ahead and toast to happy new life with them.
