Man that's crazy. Don't understand HTML fobia, but I'm neutral on the subject. I have all my particular e-mails checked as safe so it doesn't matter. But haven't run into issues on either subject, therefore I truly don't have a vote either way.
God bless ya'll,
Lance
All the people, lemme hear you give a holler:
IN GOD WE TRUST! IN GOD WE TRUST!
We stamp it on our penny, nickel, dime, quarter, dollar.
IN GOD WE TRUST! IN GOD WE TRUST!

Hey all. I hope everyone has had a great new year so far.
I question was raise regarding the fact that the donation
drive message I sent this weekend was HTML instead of the
usual text. Here is some of it...
The donation email was HTML and text (MIME encoded). If
you have an HTML reader, it probably looked like only HTML.
I think the HTML version of the funnies looks better, but
there are down sides to HTML:
1. SPAM blockers tend to block HTML messages more often.
2. The emails are usually bigger. If it has both HTML and
text it is at least twice as big, but text only reads can
still read it too.
3. Some people just don't like HTML messages (still in the
stone-ages? Not sure).
1 & 2 are issues that I can live with. 3 is still really
the only thing keeping me from just switching to HTML. I
want to make it so you can choose what format you want to
get them in. When I get that setup, I will probably make
the switch.
I have bigger things I want to get done first, though, so
this will be on the back burner for some time I imagine.
So, I wanted to post this here and see if any of you had
any thoughts on the subject.
Anyone? Anyone? No? Yes? :)
