Yes Carla, St. Patrick was by birth Welsh, not Irish, and he was
kidnapped by Irish pirates to be sold into slavery. So I wear RED on St.
Patrick's day, the Welsh national color. (Truly, Patrick did not bring
Christianity to Ireland, he ORGANIZED the church in Ireland under
obedience to Rome, ending the freedom of the original Celtic church. But
why spoil a good party with such tedious details?)
