Seldom is correct. Few people who refer to "my humble opinion" are the
least bit humble about it. I'm just being direct and honest. (Speaking
for myself, it may not be true of everybody).

P.S. Of course I always consider that I could be wrong, or, as H.L.
Mencken used to reply to any and all critics "you may be right," but as
Mike Royko remarked "I doubt it."

In My Humble Opinion = IMHO... MSHO = My Seldom Humble Opinion??

Well, one thing does grow out of another. That's what keeps conversation
from getting too boring. I agree that the entire campaign should be
limited to a six month period in the actual election year. But what I
have a problem with is reducing everything to acronyms. It took me a
while to figure out IMHO. But then, I generally refer to MSHO. (The S
stands for "seldom.")

My deepest apologies Green!

I can't believe they're already starting to campaign. IMHO it's way to
early to start and WAY TOO MUCH money is spent on it.

I lean toward John Edwards. He would have been much the best candidate in
2004, if his "lack of experience" had not been allowed to shove Kerry to
the fore. I suspect he could also have carried a couple of southern
states. Barack Obama may be the more charismatic candidate, and he has
about as much experience as John F. Kennedy did when he ran for
president, but I don't know if the substance is there or not. He is a
fine senator, but that is a different job than president. Among
Republicans, I like Chuck Hagel from Nebraska.
