Ah yes, 1960. I was in first grade. I wasn't fully aware that a
presidential election was going on, when someone shoved a Weekly Reader
in my face and asked "Who do you want, who do you want?" I saw two
pictures, one a sour-faced character with vaguely criminal qualities, the
other a friendly, smiling good guy. Naturally I pointed to the good guy,
and the entire class groaned. I was the only one who favored Kennedy over
Nixon. Several of my first grade classmates were joining anti-Vietnam war
rallies by the time they got to high school, but at age 6 they reflected
their parents' preferences.

So I guess greenBubble is about my age. He must have married later than
his early 20s, but not so late as his mid-30s. My sister, who had two
children between age 35 and 38, is four years younger than me.
