This is taken out of an email I got from Service Employees International
Union. I like the closing: no matter who is elected, those who put their
trust in the winner will have a lot of work to do to extract delivery of
at least a few promises and hopes.

Neither you, nor I, nor many of those who voted for it believe that this
bailout bill is going to solve the pressing issues American families are
facing.

At SEIU, we've made a blueprint for half of the amount approved to bail
out Wall Street. Our Main Street recovery plan calls for:
Relief for struggling homeowners
Quality, affordable health care for all
Improved infrastructure
Making sure that workers have real freedom to choose a voice at work
These are just some of basic steps we can take now that will have a far
more powerful impact on our long-term economic health than any cash
bailout for Wall Street. Join our call for a New Era for Working
Families:

Last month alone, our economy lost 159,000 jobs - the worst job loss in
seven years. Coupled with stagnant wages, skyrocketing health care costs,
and a tax system that favors the wealthy over the workers, America's
working families need a lifeline, and soon.

When Barack Obama is elected President, we're going to make sure he
implements a plan create a new American economic model that works for
Main Street, not just Wall Street.
