Hey everybody!

The 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg is coming up in 2012!
It seems just yesterday we were observing the 100th anniversary, except I
was nine years old then.

I just got an unsolicited mailing from the Gettysburg Foundation,
prominently featuring a quote from Jeanene's illustrious ancestor, the
one who freed the slaves, something he wrote to the governor of Virginia
in 1865.

And don't forget, coming up is the most important anniversary in
September, the day more Americans died in a single day than any other day
in history, September 17.
