A young man, member at Southwood, who is a student at Covenant Christian
Academy was shot over the weekend in South Carolina. His small group went to
a farm for the weekend. The owner gave them permission to ride the farm
vehicles so some of the boys and an adult were riding and came across a jeep
and they decided to ride that for awhile. A guy was on the property hunting
and shot at them with a rifle once and a second time. The second bullet hit
the jeep went through the door and into the young man(Buddy Simonis) . It
punctured the lung and came to rest in the neck area of the shoulder.

Specific prayer requests are: No infection, decreased fluid in the lung,
quick recovery, peace of mind for the parents and siblings and Dad's request
is for the man who shot Buddy.
