My husband sent me this. We referred the woman to THE ARK which takes all
animals and never euthanizes them. However, if anyone is looking for a great
dog, just wanted to share with you.

Subject: Hershey Needs a Home

My son Chris rescued a large, beautiful labrador retriever-Hershey-about 2
months ago from somebody who was about to take him to the dog pound. But
Chris has 2 other dogs and a cat and doesn't really have the resources or
room to keep him.

Hershey is about 90lbs (big dog); very loyal, good natured, affectionate,
friendly, loves kids, and gets along well with other dogs. He's been
neutered, is on heartworm preventive medicine, and up to date on his shots.

Pictures are attached. If you know of anyone who would be good to him and
provide him a stable 4-ever home, I would appreciate it. We tried
advertising him in the paper but did not get any takers and I've posted
notices with all the local rescue and humane society groups. The only
alternatives are the pound or euthanasia; needless to say, both options are
heartbreaking.

Thanks,

Sherry
