Joining the community to share in its wealth wouldn't do a materialist
much good. It is all collectively controlled, so you don't get to run out
to Wal-Mart or Neiman-Marcus to spend your share.

I would say if you are going to be a materialist, good for you choosing
to be a minimalist materialist.
