There was a movie about Pocahontas some time ago. (I didn't see it,
since I don't go to movies, but i read about it.) Leaving the theatre,
someone was overheard saying, "Couldn't they come up with a better name
than 'John Smith'?"

What can I say Lance? It's a joke.
It has a similar foundation to the joke greenBubble contributed, about
the sign saying "Need Help? Call Jesus" followed by an 800 #. You
probably remember the punch line, but... a Mexican guy showed up driving
a tow truck.

The funny part is (this is where the joke is totally ruined by
explaining it, as the blind man said in the bar full of blondes)...
English speaking people don't name their kids Jesus, but many Hispanic
cultures do name male children Jesus.

These are all good, but if Jesus was Jewish, how come
he's got a Puerto Rican name?
