No wonder I didn't get the joke!  :)  I had another one about a universalist?  that bought cloth to make a nighty for herself but as a gift for her husband and the guy said this is too much cloth and she says no, he likes to seek more than find.  Something like that?

    An atheist was spending a quiet day fishing when suddenly his boat was attacked by the Loch Ness monster. In one easy flip, the beast tossed him and his boat high into the air. Then it opened its mouth to swallow both.

    As the man sailed head over heels, he cried out, "Oh, my God! Help me!" 
  G-d said to him, "I thought you didn't believe in Me!"

  To which the atheist answered, "Well, 5 minutes ago I didn't believe in the Loch Ness Monster, either.
