I've been studying the Year 2000 (Y2K) problem. As you know, the problem is caused by using only 2 digits for the date and is "solved" by using 4
digits for the date. Some solution that is! It just postpones the problem because in the year 10,000 we'll have the problem again.
Geez, how shortsighted can these people be -- they're just postponing the problem, not solving it! I think we need to be using 100 digit numbers for
the date so that by the time it becomes a problem again, the universe will be long gone.
