/* As usual, we are getting off to a great start. We thank you for all the donations received so far! Remember, one dollar may not seem like much to you, but it's a great help to GCFL!

For those concerned about sending cash in the mail, don't be. If this was a bill that HAD to be paid, then it would matter, but if somebody ends up getting your dollar donation, it's no great loss (to you anyway). If you include your email address with the donation, we will email you confirming we received it.

Thanx again for everyone's participation! If you don't know what I'm talking about, check http://www.gcfl.net/archive.php?funny=20001020 */

In a murder trial, the defense attorney was cross-examining a pathologist. Here's what happened:

Attorney: Before you signed the death certificate, had you taken the pulse?

Coroner: No.

Attorney: Did you listen to the heart?

Coroner: No.

Attorney: Did you check for breathing?

Coroner: No.

Attorney: So, when you signed the death certificate, you weren't sure the man was dead, were you?

Coroner: Well, let me put it this way. The man's brain was sitting in a jar on my desk. But I guess it's possible he could be out there practicing law somewhere.

Received from Sherry Brock.
