One summer day after playing outside with his sister, my 5-year-old son came into the kitchen asked, "What are you doin', Mom?"

"I'm just cookin'." I told him.

"Oh." he replied, "What are we havin'?"

I told him, "Leftovers."

He scrunched up his face and looked up at me and asked, "That's cookin'?"
